According to Domain, it was the Wyndham region in Melbourne’s west that topped the country’s list for population growth in the three year period post-covid.
Suburbs such as Werribee and Hoppers Crossing saw a substantial
influx of people as did Geelong, Bendigo and Ballarat, along with Casey in the south-east, the western regional areas around Melton to Bacchus Marsh, and Tullamarine to Broadmeadows north of the CBD.
As creatures of habit we might be reluctant to break away, but if
a five day per week commute is no longer required of you, do you dare to dream of greener pastures? Ranch-style homes on sprawling blocks of land, where kids can be kids?
